Civolution to Present at CONNECTIONS™: The Digital Living Conference & Showcase at TIA 2012
    May 14, 2012

Los Angeles, CA – Civolution announced today that Tracy Geist, VP of Business Development, Civolution, will be participating as a speaker at the upcoming CONNECTIONS™ at TIA, June 5-7, 2012, at the Gaylord Texan. Geist will participate in the session “Second Screen Services,” on Tuesday, June 5 at 2:30 P.M.

The interactive panel session, moderated by Heather Way, Research Analyst, Parks Associates, explores the market implications of deploying second-screen synchronization technology and the use cases to support future growth. According to Parks Associates research, 42% of U.S. broadband households regularly use YouTube video app on their phone, showing new demand for this type of content on a mobile device.

“Automatic content recognition bridges a content consumption landscape that is becoming increasingly fragmented as consumers demand their viewing experience expand to the smartphone and tablet from the single main screen,” says Tracy Geist, VP of Business Development, Civolution.  “ACR technology, combined with this multi-screen viewing experience, presents a number of exciting opportunities for content owners, distributors, and advertisers, and I look forward to sharing my insights and expertise at CONNECTIONS.”

CONNECTIONS™ focuses on innovative solutions for the connected consumer and leading strategies to monetize digital content, mobile applications and services, value-added services, connected consumer electronics, and home systems. The conference features research sessions on OTT video, mobile and product apps, connected CE, and the connected home.

“We are excited to hear from Civolution about the new opportunities in the market,” said Stuart Sikes, President, Parks Associates. “CONNECTIONS™ provides a holistic view of the connected home ecosystem and an in-depth look at the individual market segments.”
