Media Protection - Civolution’s NexGuard forensic marking applications offer both a deterrent against piracy and a forensic analysis tool in case piracy occurs. The award-winning NexGuard - PayTV solution - already successfully deployed on a mass scale - relies upon Civolution’s best-of-breed watermarking technology and meets studios’ requirements for additional fundamental security measures required to offer early-release premium Video on Demand movies (PVOD). At ANGA 2012 Civolution will demonstrate the latest innovations in its NexGuard products for pre-release and PayTV applications, such as integrated solutions for premium online content delivery including digital screeners.
Media Interaction – Civolution’s state-of-the-art Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology solutions allow for advanced interactive media services that run on companion devices or connected TV platforms. Civolution’s latest ACR offering SyncNow - Smart Services is a server-side content identification and triggering service that provides real-time recognition of broadcast content such as advertisements, movies, TV series, and music. The service leverages Civolution’s extensive broadcast monitoring infrastructure, which monitors more than 1,725 TV channels worldwide with 1,250 national and local channels in North America covering all 210 Designated Market Areas. Companion App providers and social TV platforms can now work more closely with advertising agencies and brands to further monetize their app platforms. Advertisers can leverage Civolution’s solutions to build attractive synchronized, interactive and multi-screen ad campaigns, enabling direct product purchases from companion devices.
SyncNow - Smart Services complements Civolution’s award-winning SyncNow - 2nd screen solution which integrates on the client side and enables identification and synchronization between broadcast, on-demand or recorded television content and interactive applications on companion devices (tablets, smart phones, laptops) to present compelling, synchronized interactive user experiences including auto-check-in. Additionally, Civolution has created SyncNow – Smart TV, an ACR technology for integration with connected TVs, enabling the value-adding opportunities of SyncNow on the larger main screen of the TV set itself, including advanced advertisement models.
